What we agree on.

These terms apply to everything you buy or download through this site: the e-books, the paperbacks and the corporate edition. Advice, guidance and the building of a sales organisation are not sold here; for those, the terms of Digital Sales Consultant apply.

Who the other party is

Uitgeverij De Vuurmaker, a trading name of Triban Online Group V.O.F., Chamber of Commerce 93458649, Villafloraweg 1, 5928 SZ Venlo, the Netherlands. Referred to below as “I”. You are the buyer.

What you buy

An e-book comes as an epub and a pdf. You buy the book itself, not a subscription and not a per-seat licence: you may read it on your own devices, and you may quote from it with attribution. Reselling it or distributing it whole is not allowed.

Part I of each book is free and stays free. That one you may pass on in full, as often as you like.

With a paperback you are subscribing to the first print run. You pay on dispatch. If the print run does not go ahead, you hear from me and you pay nothing.

Prices

Prices on this site include VAT. The Dutch paperback falls under the Dutch fixed book price act: no discount is given on it, except for orders of one hundred copies or more. For that corporate edition we make a separate arrangement.

Payment and delivery

You pay for an e-book online, straight away. You go to the secure environment of your own bank or card issuer; I never see your payment details. Immediately after payment you receive a download link by email. That link works for thirty days, so do save the files. If it has expired, email me: you bought the book, and you get a new link at no cost.

If the email does not arrive or a file does not work, email me as well. I will sort it out, or you get your money back.

Right of withdrawal

An e-book is a digital product you receive immediately. By placing the order you agree that delivery begins at once, and the right of withdrawal lapses — that is what the law provides. It does not release me from delivering what is described: if it does not work, you get your money back.

For a paperback there is a cooling-off period of fourteen days after receipt. Send it back unread and undamaged and you get the purchase price refunded. Return postage is yours.

Ownership of the material

The Fire Triangle™, The Conversation Triangle™, The Fire Path™, The Fire Diagnosis™, The Fire Card™, Diagnostic Selling™, Diagnostisch verkopen™, The Deciding Unit™, The Digital Sales Consultant™, The Diagnostic Sales Organisation™ and Judgement Advantage™ are used as trade marks by Triban Online Group V.O.F. The texts, diagrams and images on this site and in the books are mine.

You may quote from them with attribution, and you may use the model inside your own organisation. You may not resell them, offer them as your own training or method, or publish them without written permission.

What I do not promise

A book is not a guarantee. Whether people move depends on circumstances a book does not control. What I do promise is that it contains what I say it contains — and Part I is free, so you can establish that for yourself before you pay.

Liability

My liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. I am not liable for consequential loss, lost profit or missed savings.

Your details

What I do with your name and email address is set out in the privacy statement. In short: I use them to send you the book, and I sell them to no one.

Governing law

Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes go to the competent court in The Hague. But first we get on the phone.
