What we agree on.

These terms apply to the baseline session, the training, the Fire Path, consulting and the sale of the book through this site.

Who the other party is

Uitgeverij De Vuurmaker, a trading name of Triban Online Group V.O.F., Chamber of Commerce 93458649, Venlo, the Netherlands. Referred to below as “I”. You are the client.

The baseline session

The baseline session is free and commits you to nothing. Nothing is offered and nothing is signed. Nor does it commit me: if I think I can’t help you, I’ll say so.

Prices and quotes

Prices on this site exclude VAT and travel costs unless stated otherwise. A quote is valid for thirty days. Amounts shown may change; what is in the confirmation applies.

The Dutch paperback falls under the Dutch fixed book price act. No discount is given on it, except for orders of one hundred copies or more. The e-book is not covered by that act.

Payment

Invoices are payable within fourteen days. For training and the Fire Path I invoice in advance, unless we agree otherwise.

Cancelling and rescheduling

Training. Free cancellation up to four weeks before the date. Between four and two weeks: half. Within two weeks: the full amount. Replacing a participant is always allowed and costs nothing.

Consulting. A scheduled day can be rescheduled free of charge up to five working days beforehand. After that I charge half.

The Fire Path. You can stop after phase one. That is not an exception, it is the intention. If you continue, the amount for phase one is deducted.

What I deliver

I deliver effort, not a result. That is not a get-out clause but the heart of the matter: whether people move depends on circumstances I do not fully control. What I do promise is an honest diagnosis, even when you don’t like it.

Ownership of the material

The Fire Triangle, the Fire Path, the Fire Card, the Fire Diagnosis, the exercises and all texts and diagrams are mine. You may use them inside your own organisation. You may not resell them, offer them as your own training, or publish them without written permission.

Material you bring stays yours, and what you say in a session stays in the session.

Liability

My liability is limited to the amount invoiced for the assignment in question. I am not liable for consequential loss, lost profit or missed savings.

Governing law

Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes go to the competent court in The Hague. But first we get on the phone.
