Almost nothing, and deliberately so.

This site sets no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies. So there is little to choose here, and that is deliberate.

What we don’t do

No Google Analytics or any other visitor counter. No advertising pixels from Meta, LinkedIn or anyone else. No profiling, no retargeting, and no cookies that follow you across other websites.

That isn’t a technical limitation but a choice. I would rather not know how long you stayed on a page.

What we do store

One thing, and strictly speaking it isn’t even a cookie. If you click “Fine” in the notice at the bottom, we record in your browser that you have seen it. That happens in localStorage, stays on your own device and is never sent anywhere.

If you click “Remember nothing”, we store nothing and the notice simply comes back next visit. That is what declining ought to mean.

What other parties do

Google Fonts. The typefaces come from Google. Google sees your IP address in the process. No cookie is placed, but it is a connection to a third party. I am considering hosting the fonts myself.

Mollie. Only when you order something. Mollie sets cookies needed to handle the payment securely. That happens on their own page, not on this site.

Netlify. This is where the site runs. Netlify keeps server logs, as any host does. Those are not cookies.

Henk. What you type is sent to Anthropic to generate a reply. The conversation is not stored: refresh the page and it is gone.

Changing your choice

Clear this site’s data in your browser and the notice returns. In Chrome and Firefox that sits under settings, privacy and security.
