The Fire Triangle is a model that came out of thirty years of practice. It isn’t a scientific theory and it hasn’t been tested in a controlled study. It describes a pattern I have met across very different sectors.

What is on this site is general in nature. It isn’t advice tailored to your situation, and it cannot replace a conversation about your own circumstances.

The stories in the book and on this site are my own recollections. Where public facts and figures are concerned, the source is given at the back of the book. Where it concerns what was said in a room, it is my account of it.
