Who processes your data

Uitgeverij De Vuurmaker, a trading name of Triban Online Group V.O.F., registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 93458649, based in Venlo, the Netherlands. Greg Trinidad is the data controller.

What I collect and why

If you complete the Fire Diagnosis I keep your name, email address, your answers to the four questions and anything you type yourself. I use that to send you a diagnosis and to get in touch. Legal basis: performance of your request.

If you request Part I I keep only your email address, to send you the file and occasionally tell you something about the book. Legal basis: consent. Every email contains an unsubscribe link.

I collect no data you did not enter yourself. There is no tracking, no profiling and no advertising code.

Cookies

This site places no cookies. Not functional ones and not analytical ones. That is why there is no cookie banner.

Talking to Henk

Henk is an AI adviser. What you type is sent to Anthropic, who provide the language model, to generate a reply. I do not store the conversation: refresh the page and it is gone.

So do not put client names, medical details or trade secrets in it. You do not need to for a useful diagnosis.

Services I use

Netlify hosts the site and stores form submissions.

Anthropic provides the language model behind Henk.

Resend sends the confirmation emails.

Google Fonts provides the typefaces. Google sees your IP address in the process. That is a deliberate trade-off I am still reconsidering; hosting the fonts myself is technically possible.

How long I keep it

Requests are kept for as long as the conversation runs and for two years after, so I know what we discussed if you come back. Email addresses for the book are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may ask what I hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. One email is enough and I will simply do it. If we can’t resolve it between us, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
